It has come to the police' attention that there have been instances of illegal bird trapping of song birds using nets which has unfortunately left some birds dead.

I have spoken to people authorised by the the relevant bodies and they ask that should anyone witness incidents of bird netting then please approach call them over and ask to see their authority which they should be carrying.  They will be more than happy to explain their actions and why they are netting birds - (Migratory Information/Numbers of birds)

Should you feel it not appropriate to approach then please contact the relevant police force or the RSPB quoting the what3words if possible.
