10 Years of GRSB RGT

2016 marks the 10th Anniversary of the start of Greyhound Rescue Shropshire and Borders. A band of dedicated volunteers set up the group as an autonomous branch of the Retired Greyhound Trust in 2006. Through the years people have come and gone but our volunteers are still dedicated to the rescueing and re-homing of retired greyhounds and lurchers. The group has found homes for over 1000 hounds through the years and continue with the work of educating people to the joys of owning one of these lovely creatures.

On Saturday 23rd July we will be celebrating with a Party at Mereside Community Centre, Shrewsbury between 11-3pm. All are welcome and we would like to see as many of our re-homed dogs as possible. There will be refreshements available for a donation and stalls and Sausage Bobbing for the hounds!

We look forward to seeing everyone there. Let's make this a celebration of what has been achieved over the last 10 years!
