Recreation Grounds

The village of Halling offers two exciting recreation grounds with updated children’s play areas and sports facilities.   Both areas are inspected and maintained by Halling Parish Council and are protected by Fields in Trust.   Both grounds are open seven days a week and free to use.

The Lower Recreation Ground is approximately four years old and located off Vicarage Road and has a well-equipped play area for toddlers and juniors.   There is a multi-use games area for ball games and outdoor gym equipment.  There is open space with two goals for low key football games.

The Upper Recreation Ground is located off the car park in Browndens Road, Upper Halling.   This play area is a year old and provides exciting equipment for toddlers and juniors.   There is a timber assault course around the side edge and this is used by adults and juniors as part of their exercise regime.    There are five a side goals in the centre of the field for low key football games.   There are picnic tables and seating and the site is frequently used by the village.
