WWATCH Joint Spatial Plan
WWATCH - Wendover, Halton, Aston Clinton & Weston Turville — Shaping Our Shared Future A joint spatial plan from WWATCH (Wendover, Weston Turville, Aston Clinton & Halton Parish Councils), explaining how we're working together on the future of our four villages — and what it means for you as Buckinghamshire's Local Plan moves towards adoption.
This isn't about one planning application or one round of consultation. It's a lasting, evidence-based plan for how our area grows over the coming decades — built on independent research into Buckinghamshire Council's own evidence base, not just local opinion.
We live somewhere genuinely rich — in landscape, in wildlife, in history, in identity, and in community. Our villages sit at the edge of the Chilterns National Landscape, surrounded by SSSIs and waterways that connect this whole area together. What we're asking for is a plan, built on fact and built to last, that protects that landscape, connects rather than fragments our nature, keeps our roads, schools and services fit for the people who'll use them, and keeps Wendover, Halton, Aston Clinton and Weston Turville as the distinct, living, pleasant places they've always been — not merged, not overcrowded, but handed on intact to the next generation.

The Regulation 19 consultation on the Local Plan for Buckinghamshire closes 6 September 2026. Each of our four parish councils will submit its own representation, alongside a joint statement — but these don't replace your own voice. Please submit your own comments too:
