Hamble Good Neighbours is a group of local people, all volunteers, who offer a helping hand to Hamble Residents. We are part of the county wide Good Neighbours Network https://www.goodneighbours.org.uk
Our main aim is to provide transport to get the elderly or the infirm to hospitals, doctors, dentists and other medical related appointments.
We will consider all requests from local people who are unable to use public transport to get the other appointments.
Going to a medical appointment can be a very anxious time for anyone; we aim to reduce this by taking people to the door, waiting with them and bringing them home again.
Our ethos is to support people to maintain their independence and as much as possible.
We an provide transport from home for:
o Hospital, doctors & other medical appointments,
o Hospital/care home visiting’
o Physio, Podiatry, Dentist, Hairdressers
