We held our Annual General Meeting on 12 October and took the opportunity to look back at another busy year supporting our local community.

525 journeys completed! Between September 2025 and August 2026, our amazing volunteer drivers completed 525 journeys for local residents, including:

168 hospital appointments

206 doctors’ appointments

32 dentist appointments

9 Café Club journeys

110 other appointments and shopping trips

A huge THANK YOU to all our volunteer drivers for giving up their time to help local residents get where they need to go. Our service is about so much more than transport – it provides independence, reassurance, friendly conversation and companionship.

Looking ahead to 2026/27, we'd love to organise more Café Clubs and social events, giving residents more opportunities to get together for a cuppa, something to eat and a good chat.

Could you help us? We're always looking for more volunteer drivers, as well as people who could support us with organising events, administration and publicity. Even a little of your time could make a real difference.

We also have our Christmas event coming up in December, and we're looking forward to another year of supporting our wonderful local community.
