It’s been a very challenging month for our bowling with the extreme heat with matches being cancelled and rescheduled but we carried on
We had a lovely evening in a friendly match at home against Dartmouth and won on all three rinks
Our match against Islington was cancelled to be re -arranged

Men’s over 55s
Home to Newton Abbot early start due to heat ,won one /drew one 2points
Away to Dawlish Marina (on grass)won one /drew one
Away To Bitton Park (on grass)won one /drew one 2points
Away to Kingsteignton won one /lost one 4points (overall score)
Well played guys in the heat .
Currently we are in middle of results league
Ladies Triple Challenge cup
We only played one match this month due to 2 teams pulling out
We had a tough match against the Den Teignmouth, lost both rinks but always good to have a challenge.
Rivera Mixed League
Home to Victoria great afternoon won on all 3 rinks 10points
Home to Brixham lovely afternoon playing against our winter members won one /lost 2 6points due to overall score (51-44)
Away to Marldon (Very hot only played 14ends usually 18)great win won on all rinks 10points Home to
We are currently 4th in league ,well done
Peter Langley is now at home recovering after a lengthy stay in hospital after his back operation we wish him well in his  recovery
Maurice Theobold is making progress after his hip operation
We also wish him well.
