Information Collection

We may collect personal information from you such as your name, email address, postal address, telephone number, or payment information when you make a purchase, register for an account, sign up for a newsletter, or engage with our website or social media pages.

Use of Information

We may use your personal information to provide you with products or services you have requested, process payments, communicate with you about orders or inquiries, provide customer support, send you marketing communications, and improve our website and services. We may also use your information for research and analysis purposes.

Disclosure of Information

We may disclose your personal information to third-party service providers who assist us in providing our products or services, such as payment processors, shipping providers, and marketing platforms. We may also disclose your information if required by law, to protect our rights or the rights of others, or to comply with a court order or legal process.

Data Security

We take the security of your personal information seriously and have implemented appropriate measures to protect it from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide you with the products or services you have requested or as required by applicable law. After this period, we will securely destroy or anonymise your information.

Children's Privacy

Our website is not intended for use by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, except for Junior Members. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information from any children who do not eventually become Junior Members, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Accounts

The Ipplepen Bowling Club website membership system lets club members have an exclusive section of the site where private club documents can be shared. To gain access to these pages you have to be approved as a member by an administrator. However, this isn't an introduction, it’s about the privacy regarding what information the website takes from you and what it uses it for.

Once you create an account, you will have given the site your Email Address, Name and Password for your IBC Account. The site will store this information so that when you next submit your details it logs you into your IBC Account. Your name, email address and password will NOT be shared outside of the IBC Website or with any 3rd parties. You can request the removal of your account from our systems if you email: oliphant966@btinternet.com and ask for your account to be deleted (you need to give your account name for it to be deleted).

Where your Account data is stored

All of the information you send to us gets sent to a separate server than the one that the website is run from. This means if the website gets attacked your data will be safe.

How to contact us

If you have any general questions about the Site or the information we collect about you and how we use it, you can contact us at oliphant966@btinternet.com
