Environmental Projects

Supporting environmental projects in your community: Free funding webinar

Environmental Grants for Community Projects

Thursday 17 September 2026, 11.00am

Do you know a group with an idea for an environmental project but unsure where to find funding?

Whether they're planning a community garden, launching a waste-reduction initiative, creating a local biodiversity project or running a citizen science programme, this free webinar will help them understand the funding opportunities available and how to make a strong application.

Join Kent Community Foundation for a practical and supportive session for groups looking to develop environmental projects in their area for 2027.

During the webinar, we'll cover:

  • Environmental funding opportunities available to community groups

  • What we are looking for in an application, tips for applying and the process

  • Real-life case studies from successful environmental projects

  • Live Q&A session where attendees can ask their questions

We're also delighted to welcome Peter from Sunken Garden as a guest speaker, who will share insights from a successful environmental project and the impact it has had on the local community.

Thinking about an environmental project for 2027? Join us to find out more about available funding opportunities and how to apply.
