Regency Week Tour: Jane Austen at the Great House

Join us on our popular guided tour to find out about her connection to ‘The Great House’. Led by a member of the Curatorial team, you’ll explore the House that Jane Austen knew, from the Parkland and Gardens she walked to the table she dined at and the portraits that appear in her novels. Interspersed with selections from her novels and letters, and including books that she read from her brother’s library, and women writers that she was inspired by, this is a unique opportunity to delve into the world that shaped one of England’s greatest novelists. This Regency Week tour will include a special collections view in the Library of early editions of Austen’s work and other objects connected to her.
