Welfare Charity

The Kingsclere welfare charities grants aid to persons who are resident in the Parishes of Kingsclere and Ashford Hill with Headley and who are in need of relief who are sick, convalescent or disabled.  Such assistance shall be in cases where help has not been available elsewhere.

Grants have previously been given towards provision of:

Motorised wheelchairs and mobility scooters, stairlifts and installation costs;

Medical equipment such as nebulisers;

Various aids to make life easier for the sick and less mobile;

Travel costs to and from hospital.

Application Process

Applications can only be received from residents in the Parishes of Kingsclere and Ashford Hill with Headley.

Applications can be submitted using the on line form or by printing off the PDF version for completion.  Supporting information such as receipts or quotes etc. are required and should be emailed or sent by post to the Clerk before the application can be considered.

Applications will be considered at the Trustee Meetings (please see the Meetings Page for the dates) and the applicant will be advised of the outcome as soon as possible after the meeting.
