We held the Benevolent Triples competition yesterday in fine but rather cool weather. There were 12 teams taking part and after three sessions, the top team from each group met each other in the final. So it was 'Triple Trouble' (Val and Jeff Passmore and John Pullinger) and 'The Solenteers' (Rose Beynon, Sheila Gentry and Tony Thompson) vying for the title and after six ends, 'Triple Trouble' won. A good afternoon's bowling which was as usual well organised by David Fairclough and Evelyn Parsons. Thank you to everyone who took part and made this a successful day.
