We held the Benevolent Triples competition yesterday in fine weather with twelve teams taking part. After three rounds of six ends each, David, who had done all the organisation, and Evelyn had the task of sorting out who were the top two teams to take part in the final. They were the Kintos (Ian, Kathleen and Tony) versus the Solenteers (Martin, Kim and Jeff). It was a nail-biting final and Martin with his final wood, took the jack to win the competition. Well done to the Solenteers! Thanks to everyone who took part and enormous thanks to David who had the job of encouraging more teams to take part. Here are some photos of the day.
