The club’s final league match of the season proved to be one of the most vital with our Men’s A Team entertaining Vospers in a “Winner takes all” P&D Div 2 clash. The successful team would win the league, the losers would miss out on promotion altogether!

Our team rose to the occasion on a tense Friday evening and scored a 14-2 win with Martin Ellis, Graham Hillier and Peter Gentry skipping our successful rinks.

Congratulations to Martin and the men’s first team squad on achieving their objective of securing an immediate return to the top division following last year’s disappointing relegation.

With our Ladies A Team winning the P&D Ladies championship for an astonishing fifth year in succession and Lee Jacks winning Div 2 of the Gosport and Fareham Mixed Triples, Friday’s triumph concluded a very satisfactory season of league bowls for the club.
