Village Hall

Maidford Village Hall

Maidford Village Hall was formally the village school. In 1973 after the school closed, it became the village hall and is run by a group of trustees from the Parish Council, Church Council and members of the village who manage the finance, building and grounds.

The hall gets regularly use from a wide range of activities including: art club, gardening group, yoga, parish council, church choir and the monthly film club.

It also hosts larger events throughout the year such as "pop-up pubs", sport match viewings, birthday parties, church events, fundraisers and other village celebrations.

The hall, which has recently been extensively renovated, can accommodate up to 60 people and has a very well-equipped kitchen which includes: cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle and any glassware, crockery and cutlery you may need. The renovation included the installation of a brand new entertainment system, boasting an 85" TV, blu-ray player and surround sound speakers, which is supported and sponsored by Gigaclear's hyperfast full fibre broadband. Other work involved redecoration and installation of air conditioning making the hall a very comfortable venue.

The building has disabled access and toilet facilities which include a baby changing table.

There is onsite parking and lawn areas to the front and rear of the building which can be used for marquees or bouncy castles.

The hall is available for private hire and is well suited for children's birthday parties, local clubs, small weddings and christenings and much more!

We have two marquees available to rent and tables and chairs if needed.
