Extended Emergency Road Closure - Shottendane Road, Birchington - 6th September 2023 (Thanet)

It has been necessary for Shottendane Road, Birchington to remain closed until 16th October 2023.

The road is closed at the junction with B2050 Manston Road. The alternative route from Park Road is via Shottendane Road, Manston Road and B2050 Manston Road.

The alternative route from Manston Road is via B2190 Spitfire Way, B2190 Un-Named Road From Minster Road To Columbus Avenue, B2048 Minster Road, B2048 The Street and B2048 Acol Hill.

The alternative route from Park Lane is via B2048 Acol Hill, B2048 The Street, B2048 Minster Road, B2190 Un-Named Road From Minster Road To Columbus Avenue and B2190 Spitfire Way.

This is to enable emergency gas escape works to be carried out by SGN.
