Police Beat Officer for Thanet Villages

Firstly, I have been in the role now for 4 months, I am grateful to you all for the support from parish councils I have received in this time as I have been very much learning ‘on the job’. I enjoy being the beat officer for Thanet Villages and the variety working in this vast area brings.

However, with movement in the department, I have been asked to take on further areas until a replacement comes in January. In addition to the Villages, I will be the named officer for Nethercourt, Newington and Cliffsend & Pegwell wards.

The good news is, PC Andy Howe is going to work along side me with immediate effect. Andy has a wealth of knowledge and experience having worked in Neighbourhood Policing for a large portion of his career. We currently work on the same days, however, we are on different shifts which means hopefully there will be more coverage between the both of us, but will more area to cover.
