Regulation 22 Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012: Bassetlaw Local Plan 2020-2038, July 2022

Bassetlaw District Council submitted the Bassetlaw Local Plan to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities on 18 July 2022 for independent examination in accordance with Regulation 22 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012. You are receiving this email because you have previously expressed an interest in the Bassetlaw Local Plan.

Attached to this email are the ‘Notice of Submission’ for the Bassetlaw Local Plan. This provides more information on the next steps in the Local Plan examination process as well as how to view the Local Plan’s submitted key documents, supporting documents and evidence base.

Please note, this is not an opportunity to make further representations regarding the Bassetlaw Local Plan. Representations previously made have been submitted to the Inspector for review. Those who made representations on the plan will, if the Inspector deems it appropriate, be offered the opportunity to appear at the examination and will be notified about the examination process by the Programme Officer.

The Council has appointed an independent Programme Officer to assist, and work under the direction of, the appointed Inspector throughout the examination process. The Programme Officer will act as point of contact between the Inspector, the Council and any third parties participating in the Examination.
