Technical information about this website’s accessibility

Monk Fryston Parish Council is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standard, due to the non‑compliances listed below.

Non‑accessible content

Non‑compliance with the accessibility regulations

  • Some images may not have appropriate alternative text (WCAG 1.1.1).
  • Some PDFs and documents may not be fully accessible (WCAG 4.1.2).
  • Some pages may contain heading structures that are not correctly nested (WCAG 1.3.1).

We are reviewing content and updating documents to improve accessibility.

Disproportionate burden

Some historic documents may not be fully accessible. Due to their age and format, making all of these documents accessible would present a disproportionate burden. If you need a specific document in an accessible format, please contact us and we will provide it where possible.
