THE PARISH COUNCIL
Monk Fryston Parish Council exists to represent the people of Monk Fryston as part of the local government structure.
The Parish Council is made up of seven elected councillors and employs a part time Parish Clerk. Elections are held every four years to elect the Parish Councillors. The Parish Council meets on the third Tuesday of each month except December at Monk Fryston and Hillam Community Centre, Old Vicarage Lane, Monk Fryston, commencing at 7.30 pm. All meetings are open to members of the public and allow local residents an opportunity to make representations at the start of each meeting.
