Peer Support Ambassadors

Several of our committee members have offered to act as Peer Support Ambassadors to welcome new members, introduce them to other members who may receiving similar treatments, or experiencing side effects of treatments.  Ambassadors will also have details of our weekly exercise group and on-going social activities.   Ambassadors can be identified by the letter A on their membership badge

Like all group members, Ambassadors are not able to provide medical advice, but they will generally be able to "signpost" new members to services provided by other support organisations who will be able to provide further information.

Feel free to have a private chat with any of our Ambassadors

As at May 2024 are current ambassadors are:

Martin Budd, Allan Roper, Jeff Twigg and Richard White
