2026 News

AUSTRALIAN PAIRS

After two weeks of cloud and rain the 13th June dawned with a warm and breezy day ideal for our Australian Pairs competition, ideal bowling weather. And so 12 pairs of bowlers turned up for the day led by the Competition Secretary, Ken Norris, with lunchtime refreshment and afternoon cakes provided by Irene O'Brien and Val Donovan, with Alex Donovan on bar duty. Thank you to all of them for their support.

It was a great day. Lots of fun and a lively competition on an excellent green. Our well deserved winners this year were Karen King and June Redgrove.
