Nuthurst Parish Council is pleased to support and promote a community screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing, organised by Nuthurst Parish Carbon Busters.

This informative and thought-provoking film brings together leading UK scientists and experts to explore how environmental change is affecting everyday life across the country. Topics covered include:

  • Extreme weather
  • Food security
  • Public health
  • The cost of living

Based on the National Emergency Briefing held in Westminster, the film has been featured by ITV, Channel 4 and The Times. It also includes contributions from environmental campaigner Chris Packham and entrepreneur and broadcaster Deborah Meaden.

About the Screening

The People’s Emergency Briefing examines how environmental change is already affecting communities across the UK and considers the practical challenges and opportunities ahead. The screening offers residents an opportunity to learn more about these issues and take part in an important community conversation.

Nuthurst Parish Council is happy to support local initiatives that encourage community engagement and informed discussion on matters affecting residents and the wider environment.
