Touring

FACILITIES FOR TOURING SIDES

Paignton Bowling Club are very keen to encourage touring sides to Paignton and can assure you of a very warm welcome.

We are situated in the heart of Paignton -  just a few hundred yards from the seafront and in close proximity to many hotels that have great experience in catering for the needs of visiting bowling clubs on tour.  You will be pleased to know that you can park your coach near to the club to unload!

As a Bowling Club, we are very lucky to have an excellent green which is looked after by our own employed green-keeper "Tommy" who, you will find, does a great job keeping the green up to scratch throughout the year.  You will be pleased to know that we can accommodate seven rinks.

We have a newly refurbished clubhouse which features new picture-windows, giving a wonderful view across the green.

Paignton Bowling Club is not only about bowling.  Whilst we think the bowling is perhaps the most important part of your tour, we do not forget the social side of your visit.

Our very well stocked bar - with prices you won't believe - will be open when you arrive and until you leave.  Included in our rink fees (which are £17 per rink for 2018) we will serve you a traditional Devon Cream Tea.  And we know this will please all your members!  
  
We currently entertain many clubs from all over the country, some of whom return year after year to enjoy our green, friendly club and of course, Devon.
