How to book the hall

Booking Peppard War Memorial Hall is simple and straightforward. Please follow the steps below to check availability and secure your booking.

Step 1: Check the Booking Calendar

Please check our online booking calendar to see if your preferred date and time are available. The calendar is kept up to date to show current booking only

Please note, we do not accept provisional bookings. All bookings made through our booking system (Hallmaster) initially show as provisional until we have received both your completed booking form and full payment. Only once these are received will your booking be confirmed and the provisional status removed. Please ensure you submit the form and payment promptly to secure your booking.

Step 2: Contact the Booking Manager

If your date is available, please contact our Booking Manager on email - you will need to provide your chosen date & timings which include set up/clear up, which areas of the hall you would like to book ie. main hall, garden &/or clubroom. Lastly, you will need to provide your home address & mobile number. Please note that emails & voicemails are only checked once a day, Monday to Friday.

Step 3: Complete the Booking Form and Make Payment

Please note: Your booking is not confirmed until we have received both your completed booking form and full payment.

  • The booking form collects important details about your event and any special requirements.
  • Payment can be made via bank transfer. Our bank details are found at the bottom of your invoice.

Additional Information

Booking Times: The hall is available from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily.

Cancellations: Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change your booking. Refunds are subject to our cancellation policy within the Terms & Conditions of our Hirer's Information pack.

Insurance: Hirers are responsible for arranging any necessary event insurance.

Temporary Event Notice (TEN): If you're organising an event and want to sell or supply alcohol, or provide entertainment, such as music, dancing or film, then you may need to submit a TEN. More information can be found here: Temporary Event Notices - South Oxfordshire District Council
