Poppleton Bowls Clubs is situated at Main Street, Nether Poppleton, York ,North Yorkshire, YO26 6JT.

Poppleton Bowls club (PBC) is a registered charity and is a section of the Poppleton Community Centre. It is an active club that caters for all age groups within Poppleton and the surrounding York area. We have a mixed and open membership policy and currently the membership stands at around 45 persons including our young members. PBC is adjacent to the Community Trust facilities. We have, for several years, been running free coaching sessions for anyone interested in taking up Bowls every Tuesday evening, during the playing season. We also encourage everyone to enjoy social bowling every Tuesday and Thursday when people can come and try the game of Bowls. Also  we have an Open Day every year to encourage new people  to partake and hopefully  join as new members of the Bowls Club. All age groups are welcome to our Open Days whether or not you have played Bowls before. PBC is committed to helping our elderly citizens within the Poppleton areas and they are most welcome to come and join and watch our matches. We at PBC also welcome our senior citizens to come to our Social Events which are run on a regular basis during the year.
