Redbourn Bowls Club was founded in 2005.  Our wonderful little club has in the region of 60 members and we are an enormously happy and friendly club and often achieve great results against more experienced teams and we have put up many a good fight against other teams who play on grass. Our all weather surface can challenge the best of them and here we mostly hold our own!

We play regularly through the summer months from April until October with home and away games. We sometimes travel as far as Chesham and play against clubs in Luton, Hemel Hempstead, Houghton Regis and Dunstable. .

Members also take part in inter-club competitions in which we compete for ladies’ and men’s singles and doubles as well as mixed pairs and other combinations. We have a presentation dinner where the trophies are presented and this is always an enjoyable evening. On top of all this we hold social events such as quiz nights, music hall nights and other exciting events.  We are always pleased to meet new members and have a Level 2 qualified Coach to assist with the "finer points" of our sport.

Regular roll-ups are run on Monday and Friday mornings at 10.00 - all are welcome, a casual bowls fee is payable to the Leisure Centre for non members.

In 2022 we enjoyed a holiday away at Bembridge on the Isle of White and won the fours trophy up against 13 other teams. In 2023 we will return to defend our title!
