September 2025
And just like that, we are already in September! The weather has been very kind to the bowlers all summer long and we have enjoyed some exciting friendly matches against other clubs, both home and away.
We are still bowling regularly and hope to carry on all winter.
July 2025
We were delighted to host a bowls taster day for Headway Hertfordshire, Watford and District Bowls Association and Herts Disability Sports Foundation. Everyone had fun, some trying bowls for the first time, and some more experienced players. Bowls is an accessible sport which can be enjoyed by all.
The Mayor of St Albans received a warm welcome and had the opportunity to join in a game of bowls. All participants enjoyed a sweet treat kindly donated by The Queen of Herts, Redbourn, and received a medal kindly donated by Five Star Trophies, Hemel Hempstead.

Our season of friendly matches against other local bowls clubs is well and truly underway! We have had some wins and some losses but, most importantly, we have really enjoyed both hosting and visiting other clubs.

The 2025 season was launched last week and many members have already signed up. We are delighted to welcome 6 new players (so far!) following our off-season campaign too.
Our 2025 fixtures have started with a very enjoyable match in the the sunshine, fingers crossed the weather is kind to us for future matches.
Free level 2 coaching is available for members starting on Friday 25th April.
