Cribbage Evenings

Cribbage Evenings are run on Thursday evenings during the off-season, from mid-September to mid-April, organised by Wendy C currently.

For those who have forgotten the format or newbies who want to join us it is run weekly very like Monday points – if you turn up by 7.25pm you will get included - we play 3 games, have a 10 minute break to top up drinks (yes, the bar will be open) and then we play another 3 games.  Each session is approx. an hour and you can opt in or out of either/both sessions.  I work out the league tables which are of interest to some people and not others and there may or may not be a trophy at the end of the season (April).  Newcomers are very welcome even if you have never played before – you can always watch the first couple of times!  Essentially it’s a nice social evening and a way of keeping in touch during the winter months, and all we ask is a nominal £5 for the whole season’s entertainment.  Please wear masks in the clubhouse.
