South Clifton Refill Station

Many of the villagers expressed an interest in reducing the amount of plastic they use. In response to this The Village now has a "Refill Station" offering a range of products, many bought in bulk, where villages can bring their own containers and buy products.

We will also help the environment further by by purchasing products that are earth friendly, cruelty free, plastic free and, where possible organic.

The Refill Station operates from the Red Lion Bar every Saturday Morning 10.00 am - 12.00 noon

The Red Lion Bar is situated in the Sports Pavilion towards the end of Coalyard Lane NG23 7AH

We are a non-profit making venture and so we are very pleased to announce we are able to make regular donations to village organisations, including St George the Martyr Church, The Newsletter, North Clifton Arts Festival along with donating numerous prizes for fundraising events.

Since the start of this financial year (March 25) we have made the following donations:

• £100.00 Donation to the Arts Festival
• £55.00 Donation for the Village Planters
• £300.00 donation to the  Collingham Food Pantry
• 100.00 Donation for vouchers for the Open Garden Event
• £1,324.88 to St George the Martyr Church Open Garden event
• Since Opening, the Refill Station has donated £4,649.00 to local organisations

We now Stock over 100 different products including:-

Laundry Liquid     Fabric Conditioner    Washing up Liquid    Hand Soap    Toilet Cleaner   All Purpose Cleaner   Body Wash

Shampoo   Conditioner   Bubble Bath   White Vinegar   Disinfectant   Toothpaste   and Toothbrushes

This is an initial range of products and if the Refill Station is succesful then the range of products will be increased.
