Ron Beat Pavilion & Sports Field

Named after the founder and long-term major benefactor The Ron Beat Pavilion and Sports Field are run by the South Clifton and District Community Sports Association. The original building was rebuilt in 2004 and is a modern well-equipped facility currently used by Collingham FC junior team. The Main team who train here is Collingham Lions under 12’s who In January 2020 became Winter Champions and gained promotion for a second successive time. They are a cracking side and would welcome your support on Saturday mornings and senior football teams for training sessions and full matches.

The field has two football pitches as well as a flood lit grass training area. There is also an enclosed children’s' playground which is available to all the villagers at any time.

The pavilion itself has two changing rooms with the necessary facilities as well as the Red Lion Bar area which can be used for social occasions as well as providing basic catering facilities. There is a large hard standing car park.

The pavilion hosts food vans most Friday evenings and The Red Lion Bar opens Friday evenings 7-10pm (when Covid restrictions allow). The pavilion also provides the Refill Station with a base on Saturday mornings 10 – 12pm.
