Peterborough City Council leader Cllr Wayne Fitzgerald, invited interested parties to submit ‘representations' on St George’s Community Hydrotherapy Pool's future to the council's cabinet.

Karen Oldale, the group's lead said, "I’d like to thank everyone who took the time and trouble to assist with such valuable contributions. It was very much a team effort. It was so heartening to learn that there was unanimous agreement as to the desired outcome for the pool and its users."

Update 1st July : Representation Part 2

Following Cllr Allen’s announcement to Full Council on 22nd June that the council proposed to trial the teaching pool at the Regional Fitness Centre as an alternative hydrothrapy venue, St George’s Lead, Karen Oldale, requested a site visit. This took place on 28th June. As result St George’s Friends and Service Users have submitted a second representation to the cabinet with their views on this proposal.
