HIghways - Planned Road Works August & September
Stockbridge Parish Council
Hampshire County Council, Highways Dept, has advised that there will be road closures to undertake carriageway resurfacing.
A30 High Street & Salisbury Road
Phase 1 – Northen side of A3057 roundabout – 10th, 11th & 12th August.
Phase 2 – Southern side of A3057 roundabout – 13th, 14th & 17th August.
Phase 3 – Salisbury Street from River Dental to Roman Road – 18th-21st, 24th August & 4th September.
Phase 4 – High Street from A3057 roundabout to Grosvenor Hotel – 25th August
Phase 5 – High Street from Grosvenor Hotel to River Dental – 26th August
North side of A30 High Street - Parking Areas
Phase 6 – From A3057 roundabout to Fire Station – 27th August
Phase 7 – From Fire Station to Grosvenor Hotel – 28th August
Phase 8 – From Grosvenor Hotel to River Dental – 1st September
South Side of A30 High Street – Parking Areas
Phase 9 – From A3057 roundabout to Grosvenor Hotel – 2nd September
Phase 10 – From Fire Station to River Dental – 3rd September
Channel reinstatement by Grosvenor Hotel
Monday 7th September.
Please Note – On-street parking will be removed during the phases being worked on, as per above. This will also include the areas adjacent to those being worked on. Signs advising motorists and no waiting cones will be placed out the day before each phase. Vehicle recovery will be used at the start of each shift to remove any vehicles parked where we will be working.
While the schedule allows for potential delays, adverse weather or unforeseen circumstances may still lead to short-notice changes. We will make every effort to provide timely updates, although communicating these to the public at short notice can be challenging.
Advance warning signs will be installed ahead of the works commencing. In addition, local residents and businesses will receive the attached postcard, which directs them to our webpage for detailed information about the planned works. Test Valley Borough and Stockbridge Parish Councils have also been copied into this email for their information.
