Walking for Trees

Ever thought of turning your footsteps in to trees?  Then consider "Treekly" and their app.

Search for "Treekly" and you should be able to download the app.

https://www.treekly.org

Basically if you walk 5000 steps a day, for five out of seven days in a week, then a mangrove tree will be planted in Madagascar to offset your carbon print.  The tree planting is sponsored by a variety of eco-supporting third parties.

Litter Pick June 2021

Along with the other Rotary clubs of the Lea Valley, Hertford Shires took part in a litter pick along the Lea in June 2021. With the support of the Canal and Rivers Tryst who supplied equipment and collected our full black sacks, we cleared the path and river bank, making it a much more pleasant environment for people to take a stroll.
