A splendid Friendly Match was played on Thursday 20 August 2026 at Kirkby Malzeard Bowls Club. This was a "first" for Thirsk Club and they were pleased to have a winning evening. The match was followed by an excellent supper and raffle, plus the surprise presentation of the Kirk Cup which can be seen if you look carefully in the photographs! The captain from Kirkby Malzeard asked that we keep the cup safe until next season when hopefully a return match will be arranged. Thank you to everyone from Thirsk who agreed to play this inaugural match!
