Well done to all the Thirsk men who progressed to the Men's County Play Offs held at our green on 23rd and 24th June 2025, two days of play enjoyed by several spectators. Despite their great efforts, sadly none of our teams managed to reach the County Finals this year. Thanks are due to all those who helped prepare the greens for the matches, and special mention to our catering team of Judith Bish, Olwynne Dunning, Janet Earnshaw and Mavis Merritt who provided excellent bacon sandwiches, other sandwiches various and of course delicious cakes to the bowlers and spectators.
