Here they are, the happy triumphant Yellow Bowling Squad, the winners of the Buddies Internal League 2024. The yellow ribbon is back on the trophy once again. CONGRATULATIONS everyone.

The Blue Squad defended their 2023 title extremely well throughout the summer but, unfortunately those blue dots failed to guide the woods often enough towards the jack to gain more shots meaning more points.

However despite some chilly evenings (the after match cuppa was always welcome) it’s been a great season competing and enjoying bowling. On many occasions five rinks were in use. Many Thanks to everyone for contributing in various ways, supporting the club, encouraging each other as well as new members to play bowls.

Looking forward to the Yellow v Blue “battle “ again next season .
