Widworthy Parish Council is made up presently of three Councillors and we need two more (see below),
The Parish Council is led by Chair - Diana Preston with Philip Webber and Susan Duffy.
Your representative on Devon County Council (Seaton & Colyton) is

We would like to thank Gordon Mowatt for his contribution to the Council since he joined in 2023 he has done everything from being the Chair to planting the daffodils we see on the verge by the A35 and putting up the noticeboards around the village. He stood down from the council after our meeting on May 7th. He is still on various Village committees and we will miss him !
Also standing down at our May meeting due to work commitments was Shane Mills he had only been with us a short time but we thank him for his contribution also.
Should you be interested in serving on the council please contact the Clerk or any of the Councillors. If a written request for a parish election is received by EDDC (see forms below) within the timeframe and signed by TEN electors from within the parish an election must be held to fill the vacancies. If no such request is received the parish council will be given permission to co-opt new members.
