Woore Parish Council would like to provide an update to Parishioners on the recent HS2 Phase 2a Consultation.

Lord Rosser tabled Written Parliamentary Questions to the Government on the HS2 consultation:

  • To ask Her Majesty's Government when they will publish the report of the consultation required under section 60 of the High Speed Rail (West Midlands–Crewe) Act 2021.
  • To ask Her Majesty's Government how many submissions were made to the consultation required under section 60 of the High Speed Rail (West Midlands–Crewe) Act 2021; and, of these submissions, how many mentioned Woore.

The purpose of the latter being that in the event the report fails to mention Woore, there are grounds to question why.

The report is most likely to be published on the DfT website. Woore Parish Council will endeavour to make this report public.
