Neighbourhood Plan
The Parish Council is in the process of applying to SSDC for designation of a Neighbourhood Area under Section 61 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990
The Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, as amended. The proposed Neighbourhood Area is the whole Parish and the proposed relevant body to prepare the Neighbourhood Plan is the Parish Council.
These actions are in accordance with the public meeting held 26 May 2026 in the Parish Community Centre, publicised on social media and by posters in the Parish and delivered to households.
The next public meeting on the Neighbourhood Plan is Tuesday 14 July, Parish Community Centre, Acton Hill Lane starting 7 pm [doors open at 6 30pm]. Updates on:
a) Housing Needs Assessment for Parish
b) Draft Neighbourhood Plan
c) Selecting Local Green Spaces for community benefit
d) Possible locations for additional homes within the Parish between now and 2041
e) Update on Acton Hill planned development(s) by Gladman / Barratt / Redrow
