Small and friendly sums up the Hodsoll Street village hall. The village hall committee has put in a lot of effort to decorate the hall in a cheery, informal style, they also organise a number of events for the benefit of the local community.

The hall is available for private hire for small family parties (maximum 80), has a fully equipped kitchen and costs £10.00 an hour and £60.00 for Saturday evenings

Bookings can be made by ringing Liz Thomas on 01732 823707. Please note that the hall does not have a licence to sell alcohol and event must finish by 11.30pm and the hall vacated by midnight.



This hall is situated in The Street, Ash. It is of a reasonable size, and can accomodate up to 120 people. There is a small enclosed garden at the back, safe for children.  It has a small kitchen with a fridge and a catering cooker. It is in use every weekday evening during School terms for a variety of activities including Girls' and Boys' Brigade, dancing and table tennis. It is available for private hire for family gatherings etc but not for teenage parties. It is a "no smoking" hall and does not have a Public Entertainment or licence to sell alcohol. Charges are £10 per hour in Summer, £15 in Winter; Saturday evenings (4-11pm) £80 in Summer, £120 in Winter; all day Saturday £160 in Summer, £230 in Winter. New Ash Green Village Hall is the largest of our three village halls. The hall is available for both private and corporate hire and holds a music licence, with a capacity of 150 people. The hall boasts a central village location overlooking the open space of the Minnis. As well as the large hall, facilities include a stage area, projection room and a kitchen located off the large foyer. The hall is also fitted with acoustic panels which provides improved sound quality. The Hall is very popular for private functions and social events.

The hall also currently boasts an array of classes/clubs ranging from:- NAGARA (over 50s), Indoor Bowls, Fencing, Fitness and Theatre groups etc. There is also a separate Meeting Room which can be hired.

The Centre consists of a hall, carpeted coffee bar area, decent sized kitchen and a small meeting room and is used for many community activities, including the youth clubs, dance classes, lunch club for elderly people and Greenash Pre-school. The Centre may also be booked for private functions and is a popular venue for birthday parties, etc. Ring 01474 872441 on Thursday mornings for enquiries, bookings and availability.
