Avant Homes have fixed a public meeting in Bishop Monkton for later this month after confirming that they have submitted a revised planning application to the Council.

It is expected that the plan, which originally envisaged more than 100 homes, will be for 60 houses on the site near the Knaresborough Road/Moor Road junction.

A public meeting, called for by both the Parish Council and BMAG, will take place in the Village Hall at 7pm on 30th October.

The new planning application should also be available for residents to see ahead of the meeting but is not yet live on the Council planning tracker.
