Do you have a couple of spare hours?

Why not become a volunteer ?  Being a volunteer can be very rewarding, knowing you are helping local people less fortunate than yourself and can give you a sense of achievement, plus you are meeting new people who are like minded. There is no set time, you can do as much time as you want.

There are several roles that you get involved with; perhaps being a coordinator which you can do from your own home, all you need is a computer and a phone.  Or if you like driving you can take clients to their appointments and home again. You use your own car and all costs are reimbursed and you are insured. Or perhaps helping out with admin, all volunteers are very welcome
