Trees at the Playstool

The parish council has had no choice but to remove several trees from the Playstool grounds due to disease. At the next meeting a decision will be taken on replanting to replace the three that have been removed. The red horsechestnut was badly infected eith Bleeding Canker, the wild cherry had decayed and was at risk of structural failure and the larger horsechestnut had no live growth, showing signs of red fungal spores of Coral Spot.
