How to donate food etc.

Householders:

If you have any surplus tins or packets lurking in your kitchen cupboards which you know you won't use, why not donate them to the Community Larder rather than throwing them away? We also accept other household goods such as toiletries, cleaning items, pet food etc.

Drop off points for non-perishable items:

Boroughbridge Community Care (in the square next to the Library): weekdays between 9.00 and 13.00

Boroughbridge Post Office: during opening hours

Boroughbridge Community Larder: Mon 9.30 - 10.00 and Weds 9.30 - 11.00am.

OR: why not bring them along to the Community Larder at 12.00 on a Weds afternoon and pick up a free bag of food for yourself?

Allotment holders:

If you have a glut of fruit or veg we would be more than happy to take them off your hands! You can either drop them off at the Community Larder on a Weds morning between 9.30 and 11.00 or arrange for a collection by emailing bbrcl@hotmail.com
