About our Club

Bournemouth Bowling Club is a friendly club open to members of all standards, including those wishing to take up the game for the first time.

The Club sits within Meyrick Park, a quiet part of town amidst very pleasant surroundings.

We have a Grade II listed clubhouse between our two greens.

Our bowlers compete in the Bournemouth & District leagues as well as a full programme of friendly matches. But you don’t have to bowl to be a member of Bournemouth Bowling Club, Social Membership is available, giving access to the bar and all club social events.

Although the bowls season outdoors lasts from April till September, the club is open all year round and social events are organised throughout the year.

All of our rinks are grass and although this restricts our ability to provide all year bowling we believe that there are adequate facilities in the surrounding area for those wanting to play throughout the winter months.
