Today was Day 2 at Leamington and the following Hampshire players were in action

Men's 2 Bowl Singles

Perry Martin of Boscombe Cliff narrowly won his Round of 16 match against Lincolnshire by 14 shots to 13 at lunchtime and then continued his success in the quarter final with a 15-13 win over Lancashire. That put him into the semi final late this afternoon but unfortunately his run was ended with a defeat to Kent by 11 shots to 18

Women's Junior Pairs

Grace Read and Darcey Read of Milton Park were in the quarter final of the Junior Pairs at lunchtime but were unfortunately defeated 7-27 by Somerset

Women's Senior Singles

In the Women's Senior Singles Sue Sirl of Banister Park had won through yesterday to the Quarter Final which was played this morning but sadly she lost 12-21 to Kent

Men's Senior Pairs

John Keat and Chris Daniels of Boscombe Cliff continued their good run in the Men's Senior Pairs as they defeated Huntingdonshire in the quarter final by 19 shots to 7. That has put them through to this evening's semi final against Worcestershire which they also won by 16-9 to reach tomorrow's final against Devon which will be played at 12.00pm

Men's Senior Singles

This competition started this morning with Jim Marsland of Cove playing Surrey in the Round of 16 but he suffered a narrow 19-21 loss

Girl's Singles (Under 17)

We had no Hampshire players involved

Boy's Singles (Under 17)

Late this afternoon Matthew McLoughlin of Woolston and District played in the quarter final and won by 21 shots to 16 against Middlesex and will now play in the semi final tomorrow lunchtime against Gloucestershire
