Thomas Tailby Handicap 2026

This is a new tournament, open to all Club Members.

We have 21 people signed up to this tournament so the format will be 7 groups of 3 players. The 3 games will be played on the same day using the format below.

Player 1 versus Player 2 with Player 3 marking.
Player 2 versus Player 3 with Player 1 marking.
Player 3 versus Player 1 with Player 2 marking.

3 Points will be awarded to the winning player in each game.
1 Point will be awarded to each player if the game is a draw. However, the players will then play a one-bowl shoot out, and the winner of the shoot out will be awarded one bonus point.

The winner of each group will progress to Quarter-finals. Also, the best performing second placed player will advance to the Quarter-finals.

The handicaps cannot be determined until after the Finals Weekend has been completed but the draw will probably be made after the Friday Night Triples on 14th August.
