Summer is encapsulated by the sounds of friendly shouts from the green, the clunking of bowls, the clinking of cool drinks; maybe the whiff of a promised barbecue..

We are very much hoping to see more people who want to try out the game.   Our club is a great facility however still remains undiscovered by our local community.    Every Tuesday evening has been dedicated as an 'Open Evening' and a great opportunity to come and try your hand, get some advise/guidance from our coaches at no cost or commitment.  Bowls are provided, no special sportswear is needed, we just ask that flat shoes are worn when playing on the green.

The bowls season runs from May through to September and the club opens for play this year on Saturday 16th April.   Chandos Park BC takes part in friendly matches each weekend, playing other clubs from the surrounding areas (see 'Fixtures/Leagues'), home and away.   There are many different local and county league games as well as the national competitions.

The club opens every weekday evening from about 6pm onwards, during the season.  Roll-ups are available during the day but note that the green is closed for maintenance Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am - 1pm.

  • We have members of all ages, and qualified coaches.
  • as a registered members club, a well stocked bar is available to our members and their guests at very competitive prices.
  • bowls of all sizes are available for prospective members and those wishing to 'try it out'.

The Club are wanting to expand their membership and welcome all enquiries.

PLEASE BE ADVISED    The bowling green in Chandos Park is a public facility provided by the Buckingham Town Council and administered by Chandos Park Bowls Club.   Rinks are available to book on a session basis and anyone desirous of its use should email their requirements on the below form, and receive in return the fees per session,
