Footpaths

Chillerton and Gatcombe Parish offers a network of footpaths, bridleways and walking routes across the parish and surrounding downland, including access to Chillerton Down.

Latest Update

On Saturday 5 April 2025, the new public footpath G6a was opened, linking Bridleway G6 with the open access land of Chillerton Down. The Parish Council thanks all those involved in making this possible and attending the opening.

Parish Walks Project

In 2019 the Parish Council was awarded a grant from the Big Lottery Fund to develop a parish walks project, creating a range of mapped walking routes across the area.  Please feel free to download the available walking leaflets below.
